Cookies baking time. Chocolate chips and cranberry rose cookies
Sunday, July 225:45 PM

It's 22/7/12
It's baking cookies day !
So much influence by suzsue Yeung that I also wanna bake some yummy cranberry rose cookies to eat.
The last I baked was like 9 years back! Hahaha !

I love cooking and baking , but there's one thing about me which I don't know if it's just me or what.
I prefer doing simple dishes and items, once I see that the ingredients needed are crazy , I'll skip it hahahah !
So rest assure that what you see from my blog, is always fuss free an easy to make ;)

Oh and next up will be cooking Tom yum soup ;)
Yummy!!!!

Ok ! Here we go,

Chocolate chips cookies and cranberry rose cookies.

The ingredients we need are ;
100g Of sugar
200g of salted butter
360g of plain flour
1 egg
1/2 tbsp of baking soda
2cups of dried rose petals
1 cup of dried cranberry (this time round I put only 2/3 cup and I feel it's not enough, so it's advisable for 1 cup of chopped up cranberry)
Chocolate chips
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp rose essence

Directions;
1) beat together the butter and sugar. I used the electronic mixer to make the task easier

2) sift the plain flour and baking soda, water and egg into the mixture and mix well . Until a beautiful dough is form.

(because I'm doing 2 flavors of cookies here so once dough is done, I divide into two portions. One for the chocolate chips and the other for cranberry rose )

3) add rose essence, rose petals and dried cranberry into one of the dough and add in chocolate chips for the other dough.

4) put into fridge for about 20mins

5) using a cookie cutter and cut out the dough

6) preheat the oven. Then place cookies dough on the tray with parchment paper, and bake for about 25-30mins at 160C.

7) cool the cookies first before storing

That's it! Done !!!!
