Batam trip review KTM resort

Got the deal from deal.com awhile back in I think April.
Planned the KTM resort trip on 18 June 2012 to 19 June 2012.
The deal was $55 and taxes $27 = $82
$82, pretty decent for a 2d1n batam getaway ;)
I have to really say that things at batam are cheap!!!!!! Some are dirt cheap. Haaa . All these are referring to the hypermart at the malls. Ha!
Spending at Resort ain't that cheap but still decent, I would say.
Shopping at the mall for clothings etc hmmmm not that cheap either.
The nicer clothings would probably cost you the same as Singapore. So I'll rather buy it here.
The very hilarious incident at batam was the Time difference .
Batam is one hour slower.
And I keep getting confused!
I kept adding an hour instead of deducting an hour . Hahah !
So end up I kept telling the wrong pick up timing to the taxi driver. Ha !
I didn't realise the mistake until when I was about to leave batam. Ha !!!

Ayam soto , nasi goreng, prawns fritters , vege and avocado drink.
I would say one of the highlight of the trip was shopping at the supermarket ;) hahah !
Tonnes of things which cost us 900,000 rupiah = sgd 123.
This is the other highlight of the trip.
Makan dinner at winsor.
Yummy n cheap !
Cereal prawns, sotong , stingray, vege , egg , la la only cost us 208,000 rupiah = sgd $28.50

I love batam for the seafood n shopping.
KTM resort wise , hmmm smaller than I expected.
If you just need a place to sleep then KTM is good enough.
If you need a place to chill and relax , then u might want a better KTM room or other resorts.
