I've been a regular user of maybeline liquid foundation ever since like I really dunno how many yearsssss ago.
But this time round , to my disappointment , it ain't same anymore.
I felt like they seriously had the ingredients changed a little.
It's so much more liquid n diluted now.
Not as thick as before n the coverage wise is like hell lots of Diff.
I dunno if I'm just right or what ....
But it really ain't Same anymore ;(

new restaurant found!!!!
it's probably one of the must go restaurant.
was thinking of places for dinner yesterday.
headed over to singapore yacht club but sadly it didn't allow non-member to enter.

thus we had to drive around for our dining location.
i wanted to eat somewhere which i've never tried before.
was kinda craving for the korean food at yess centre but darling poh doesn't fancy korean food.
but there was this newly open restaurant at yess centre, beside the korean restaurant, GOOD OL cafe. associated with Hooha and West end at pasir panjang village.
didn't wanted to go in at first cause seems like it's rather empty, thus it makes us think that the food is probably not too good.

just by looking at the menu, i salivated.
hahahah....... i see oysters, mussels and escargots!! my favouritesss... wooo!

the price is also very reasonable!
most importantly, the food was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!
escargot for half a dozen, baked with cheese and herbs was only $9.
salmon with caviar and quail egg appertizer was also $9.
soup of the day $5.
crab cake $10.
buffolo wings $9
pizza seafood gumbo $18
lamb and pork main course $29
frozen mango margarita $18
cider beer $10.
sometimes price is actually compromise with the quality and taste of the food.
but nooo , not at GOOD OL cafe.
they serves real good food at reasonable price!!! really!!!!
the only disappointment was the lamb and pork main course, the lamb and side dishes was perfectly great but pork was really normal. hahha. but that's seriously the only flaw throughout my whole dining yesterday!!! hahaha....

overall was still damn awesome!!!!!!!!
i want to go back to GOOD OL cafe!

woohooo!!! i've never tasted this elsewhere before, but it's really really yummy!!!

3) crab cake
yummy! but this dish is rather normal.
nothing to special :)

4) buffolo wings
already damn yummy when without the sauce.

5) pizza seafood gumbo
thin crust was good. it don't get me too filling which is good. hahaha!!!!

6) lamb and pork main course
the lamb tasted good at medium well. tasted like beef hahah.

7) frozen mango margarita
huge portion. yummy!!!!




Woooo finally my precious off day is here.
Had lots of fun last night.
Was a happy night.
Yesterday was pay day, had buffet at todai and had drinks n sing at kbox.

Buffet at todai was awesome, but I dun feel that it's worth $60+.
The varieties were great but I just felt that it's overpriced.
The korean looking staff are some from china, hahahha eeekkkkk.
Was very lucky to have gone yesterday cause Thursday is oyster day.
The oysters were fresh and yummy.
N Had lots of salmon!!! ;)

Ktv was fun, fun drinking and playing games hahhaa.
Didn't really sing much but companion was the most impt ;)

I broke my specs a few weeks back.
I went to slp leaving my specs on the floor.
Woke up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet and when i was going back to bed, I stepped on the specs and broke it onto 2!
Told you it was bad august !
All the bad things happen.
I seldom wear specs. Only for home wear.
I went jp and bought a $6 plastic spec frame.
Will be getting the lenses fix to the plastic frame next month. ;)

i admit, i'm not always smiley and cherry to all cust.
everyone is the same right?
sometimes we are in exceptional good mood, and sometimes lousy.

but i'm so blessed to have nice colleagues in my branch and nice clients.
i've got client who boiled me tea leaf egg, bring me to ya kun, made me a small piece of cake, and gave me tidbits :)





august has been a bad month. :(
it's improving but still bad. haa!

pray for a better september man!!

know what? i actually just did my very FIRST shares investment!!!!!!



oh my!!!!!

i should say i'm not someone with big risk appetite but i just thought that i should probably do something to grow the money.



bought tiger airways shares.

it's on sales now, so i thought why not?

try on a small amount and let's hope for some miracle. haha!



don't have an investment account yet so i used my aunt's account to do my first transaction.

i couldn't even wait a little longer to enter the market as the price was totally good i thought.



let's cross our finger and hope for upwards trend, since tml tiger will start flying after the ban is release.

but it's contradicting how i buy their shares but won't even want to fly with them hahah!!!!!

ok, let's hope for miracles :)










Off day today. totally awesome.
3 days straight of rest is really the best thing I'll ever wish for.
Sometimes we wonder why we work so hard and yet miss out so much in life.
But anyway I did some cooking today.
Made stuffed mushroom and pizza.

first met you when i was still staying at Blk 9.
i remember seeing you and your mum walking to the lift, then i kinda like shout over from my place to you, asking which class are you going to be in the next year, pri 4.
and we so fated, be in the same class, 4/2.

Then from there we became very close friends in school and also partner in crime.

it's been 15 years, though we do not meet as often now due to individual commitment and work, it's still great knowing that we are still bonded in a certain special way.
every time we meet up, it just clicks.
this is the magical part of our friendship.
and with technology like whatsapp, facebook and my blog, we are always connected in each other's world, knowing the latest happening.


I LOVE YOU ESTHER GOH.
let this friendship continue blooming.
