Melbourne trip 17/11/2011 to 21/11/2011.
Finally Done with booking the tickets n hotel!
Ticket ; emirates airline $714 x 2 = $1400 (promo tkt)
Hotel ; city tempo short stay apartment , 3 nights @$689.
Was so lucky to get the emirates promo tkt!
Only decided to go Melbourne last month n emirates just nice was having promo until 31st oct n have to travel by 31st nov ha!
Googled the hotels in Melbourne city, it was madness. I had bits n pieces of research done for a week, n still had no idea where exactly to stay.
Luckily a few friends around me who went mel before gave me tips n advises on where to go, what to do n where to stay etc.
Hotels were mostly either fully booked, or damn Ex!
Fortunately city tempo was still available.
The location is gd, 353 queens street, plus reasonable price.
a studio apartment with balcony ;)
The trip is rather short only 5d4n BUT given that we are flying off only at 10pm, the trip is actually only 4d3n.
Attractions which are in the list;
-ocean road tour (everyone say die die must go, else it means I haven truly been to Mel. Haaa!)
-either Philip island or yarra valley tour
-Victoria street market
-Bourke street mall
