Okay, here comes the officially review on the Braun epilator, silk epic 7 xpressive pro.
What is an epilator?
In my own layman explanation, It's an electrical device use to help you to remove hair from the roots. Instead of you using a tweezer to pull the hair out, an epilator actually has like 40 tweezers at very high speed helping you to pull the hair out! So awesome!!!!
How I came upon to buying my first epilator?
I am a regular to shaving ( my legs) And yeah it's true that shaving makes the hair thicker. So I can't stop shaving cause the hair grows back pocky and I dislike the feeling.
Plus frequent shaving actually makes the skin dry and sometimes itchy.
Then one day, I forgotten how I chanced upon this amazing device, the epilator.
Then I started stalking epilator online, googling and watching YouTube review.
Watching the YouTube review, I would say is the best choice.
You see how ppl praise the use of an epilator and how the first time user scream during their first time usage. Haha!
I have to admit that I was real scare, to even think of buying an epilator for myself.
But for the sake of beauty, I thought it was all worth it.
There's actually 2 common brand of epilator selling in Singapore, Phillis and Braun.
I chose Braun silk epi 7because the sales lady at courts recommended. But I was thinking, Aiya probably because it's the most costly, at $189, thus her commission is higher.
But I totally never regret getting this brand.
Even in YouTube, most people says praises for this Braun epilator.
Braun claims to be probably the first epilator that can help to epilate the shortest hair, at only 0.5mm
How was it like epilating for the very first time?
I got my epilator on Vesak day 2011.
I was so excited with my purchase, (FINALLY) after all the researching and stalking on this product.
So I was home at about 10pm, can't help it but turn it on to try it on my leg, just on a little area.
Holy shit!!!
I seriously have not experience such pain before.
Even the tatto-ing of my finger wasnt that bad!
But it's a good $189 which I've paid, so yeah I definiely got to use it.
The next morning I woke up one hour earlier than usual, just to epilate my legs.
I endured, clutched My first, hold my leg real tight and then started "torturing" myself with the epilator.
This time round it ain't that pain anymore, plus thinking of the smooth and hairless result just excite me.
The Braun epilator, which came with 5 different sets of epilating functions.
For the facial, legs, underarms, bikini line and for shaving.
Would I recommend the Braun epilator to you?
Yes definitely!!
It's a NO regret. This epilator is a beauty savior, especially for people out there who is a regular to shaving.
The regrowth of the hair is not as thick and is not as fast.
I guess the duration of its growth was delayed for a good 5x compared to the usual traditional shaving method.
Though the very first time of epilating can be torturous but it's all worth it, And it's only for the first time.
Because the growth after that is a lot slower, so your subsequent epilating experience is a lot mild.
Epilating the underarm is so easy too. And not forgotten with the help of the 40 tweezers, it's a lot faster!
Epilating the underarm for me is not painful at all, because I tweet my underarms.
