Back from HCMC!!!!
After 4d3n of fun. $1 = 13,000VND.
Though there were some unpleasant incidents that happened, I still enjoyed myself.
Vietnam is a still developing country.
Lots of museums talking about their war with the Americans.
Took tiger to HCMC, tkt around $200.
But HCMC makes me feel that there ain't much tourists.
Probably it's still not so popular amongst the vacation choices.
Darling poh n I spent about 700SG (converted to be 9,050,000 VND).
Bought some clothings, spent on food, hotels etc.
Total we both spent 1,100 for the trip in total.
Very reasonable for the 4d3n vacation I felt.
Language is a big issue.
People there can't really converse in English n sometimes we had really tough time trying to let them know what we want.

Day 1:
Arrived at HCMC. Took Mailinh cab to our hotel, Mai hotel.
Around 40USD per night per room.
Very comfy room though not very spacious, but they had a massage bathtub in the bathroom. Had our first local meal there, Pho, noodle soup.
Then we headed over to ben tahn market.
One of the biggest market there for eveything.
But we had to bargain like crazy.
They usually mark up by 50-100%!
The first day we bought Tshirts at 90,000 each.
Next day we bargain till 72,000.
Last day, we saw a shop selling those t-shirts at only 25,000,
without even having to bargain.
Bought a belt at 130,000 ( initially quoted 350,000) but now I felt it could have gone lower.
For our 4 days there, almost everyday we head down to ben tahn market to walk walk.
Had dinner at a Korea restaurant then to a nice Japanese cafe to chill.

Day 2:
Went for a full day tour.
Morning to cu chi tunnel , the must go when u r in HCMC.
Learnt how the Vietnamese set up traps to the Americans during war time n experience live how the tunnel looks n feel like though the tunnel had Been kind 'enlarged',
due to suit the western bodies.
It was pitch dark!!!!! N the tunnel is small!
We had to crawl n the ventilation was bad!
I somehow had claustrophobic n had difficulty breathing so I stopped in the mid point,
whereby the rest continued.
The feeling was really not very good being in such a small tunnel.
N I tried shooting with real riffles, AK74?
Dunno the name, something close to that lah, haa!
Then headed over to city tour in the other half of the day.
Went to reunification palace n war museum.
Ok ok lah, Not as interesting as cu chi tunnel, plus I'm not a museum person.

Day 3:
At last a morning whereby not having to wake up early.
Slept till afternoon after eating breakfast, then headed out for lunch at around 3pm.
After that, we went to checkout Chinatown.
It was kinda boring cause we didn't know where is the happening spot.
Hanged out awhile n took a cab back to ben tahn market.
This time round we were there in the evening, so it actually turned into night market.
Bought more clothings.
Didn't manage to check out the night life.

Day 4:
Head over to ben tahn again, This time round we got the G7 coffee,
popular 3in1 coffee in Vietnam.
Went around bargaining n some really rude ladies actually 'scolded n cursed' us cause we didn't buy from them.
End up getting 30 boxes of coffee in total, each for 27,000 only.
Bought some more clothings, best deal so far. 25,000 per piece only.
Hang around, had lunch then off to the airport.
Tiger got delayed a little due to technical issue n arrived in Singapore 8.45pm.
Guess there's so much more details I wish to share. Soon soon, will do that real soon.
Gotta get my sleep .
N the next time I'll post my photos n probably go into more details on HCMC.
