at last it's off day!!!!
work was alright...
sales was ........ hmm i can say, so far so good.

met up with cynthia today....
been such a long time.

going to meet agnes for early dinner tmr before i go work.
and meet jolin on thurs.

tuition... so far so good too.
taught for the third lesson already.
kinda self discipline having to get up early in the morning to give tuition when the night befor i only get to sleep at 3 or 4.
my student never fail to ask me " what's inside your mouth? there's a nail."
hahhaa... i will just say " quickly do your work. "
haha...
but one good thing is, at least her parents aint home most of the time when i teach so at least it's not so pressurizing.
or at least when they're around, they won't interfere or like observe how i teach.
quite difficult to teach a primary 1 student though.
it's like there's simply too many things they don't know yet.
the fundamental is not even there.
and they always just tell you "my teacher says this... my teacher says that... my teacher will mark like this.... like that and so on........."
but can't blame them.
they spent so much of their time in school and teachers are those role models.

like recently things happened so sudden and fast........
like there ain't even time for me to react or response to it.
now my china friend, cici, sudd says she's gg back china in these 2days.
then so many things gotta discuss with her.
will go look for her later.

gonna start work at butterfly later.
so many things to learn.
hope i can cope.






i know i am lucky to be given the position as a manager in butterfly
but i am feeling so stress and tensed up these few days since they broke the news to me on tues.
i guess the 2 years plus experience working part time in 4 pubs were quite sufficient.
but the most important thing now is to have enough customer base,
which i didnt realise the importance till recently.
and now that i had to hit the at-least-break-even sales, it is scaring me off.

always as a waitress,
i would so much wish that the crowd will be pathetic so that i can just slack.
now i know how the manager feels when the pub is so empty.
what to do,
it's a challenge and i really hope i can boost the business there
and probably at the end of the month get some incentives
that will add up to make my salary more attractive.

soooo many things to do and learn......
i gotta learn the cashier, doing the settlement, inventory checks, accounts, management ,
knowing how to do some common cocktails etc etc... endless

desperately looking for part time waitress....

just arranged with SPH to make a 2 days recruit advertisement on newpaper on mon & tue.
hope there would be some responses.......
but thinking about it,
i better change and put it in the straits times recruit instead.

it's like i always thought of giving tuition to pri sch kids when i was in secondary sch time or probably my early stage in poly life
but now..... when i am going to start full time in nightlife, i'm actually going to give tuition.

got to get assignments for tuition due to..............
it all happened last week when i went for an event at singapore changi air base.
for their don't know what mess thing.
quite stupid affair la.
8 party girls for that event whereby we slack so much.
and we're paid 3hrs $80 for slacking, eating their buffet and drinking their free beer.
hahahha....
was quite fun though.
then from there i got to know one girl, tina.
she got to know that i stayed in jurong and she asked if i would be interested to give tuition cause they're in need of tutor in the west.
haha.

these 2 weeks i've been pub hopping and doing those freelance events.
worked 2 days at GUESS WHAT.....
don't like tat place where people kept bossing you around to do this and that.
then i worked in rage for 4days....
very slack and friendly environment but pay is low.
but still, i guess environment and colleagues matter a lot.
though i work only 4 days there,
everyone treats me very nice and they're very friendly.

alright it's late...
i guess i gotta slp.
got to give tuition at 11am and after that,
meeting esther, my pri sch friend since 10years old, for lunch..........
sure have lotssssss to catch up since we nearly didnt meet up for close to 2years.
then meeting boss at evening time to discuss about the new opening of butterfly by new management,
then off to MOS for cici's bday.....

at ruoning's 21st birthday, aranda country club



batam was great.
the service in harris resort was tip top.
everyone working there is very friendly and hospitable.
but facilities wise is not very good.

i guess the most fun part about the trip will be the seafood dinner in town.
had so much fun trying to speak malay to the people there and playing around.
bill was suppose to be rp192.500 but due to the handwriting, they thought is 142.500 and we(server and us) kept getting confused.
stingray sucks to the max... and it's the most expensive dish we ordered.
then rest was fine.

spa, was great too.
cynthia and i fell asleep during the 2.5h treatment.
there was this one part whereby we had to bath and wash off the srubs and dirt on us,
but holy god.... the water from the shower tap was unimaginary little!!!!!!!!!!
so little that it's like water rationing or even the impression of water might just get cut off anytime.
very pathetic.
and the shampoo liquid was in BLACK!!!!!!!!!
quite scary. but we still use it as we thought it must be some good stuff.
haha

in the room, it wasn't that bored.
coz they had some svc channels like svc, discovery channels etc....
they even have channel 8 and channel u.

view from the room was simply the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it's some sort like the shangri la in sentosa.
you get a balcony outside your room whereby you can sit under the sun to read a book while enjoying the great view or even do tanning there.
it's a big pool view outside the window.... magnificant!

my big 21st birthday!
24 people came and i really hope everyone enjoyed themselves!
and really really thank to those who came, really!!!!!!!!!

initially everything was such a cock up.
told all my friends that i will be there at 10+ but in the end i reach at 11
so i started getting calls from my friends telling me they have reach.
like......... WHAT THE HELL.... EVERYONE IS SO EARLY TONIGHT.
haha.......

but the best part is there were long queue almost till quite late night but all my friends get to cut the queue and enter by the priority queue.
and also double o throw in a free bottle of champagne and 20 sex on the beach shooter for my friends and i!
were so busy entertaining everyone last night....trying to make sure that they did enjoy themselves.

and the stupid cynthia was the sweetest yesterday!!!!!!!!!
she scarifice herself and help me take care of all my stuff.
my cards, my receipt, my money, my camera, my phone...........
thank u!
and she was also the one who made me cry yesterday.
she went off at around at 2? (totally unsure of the timing as i didnt even glance once to see what time it was)
telling me she's going to find her friend for awhile.
then she return with a birthday cake for me.
SWEETEST!

and thanks gordon, for the dinner at beach cabana though the steak was so raw.
haha...
poor u... waited so long for cynthia and i and had to drive us everywhere.
