went to RITS(restaurant in the square) for lunch today.
it's the school's fine dining restaurant.
for 3 course meal it's actually $12.50.

all those waiter and waitresses are actually students from my course.
but i think their service really sucks la. (Ops)
haha..... don't even know how to clear the plates before serving the next course.
haha!

as for chefs who are cooking, they're also students.
haha!!!
so next week it'll be my turn to cook.
i am all prepared to get scolded from the 2chefs in the kitchen.
hopefully i won't cry! haha...

just received a letter from china world vision.
it's from my son.
he is far too young to know how to write and thus his uncle helped him.
it's a short letter but it was enough to make me smile.
will have to meet up with fuann soon to show him the letter.

and tasks to be done will be :
1) take a photo with fuann and send it over to jin dui
2) buy some stationery for jin dui





met up with cici today at bugis village.
then went over to her place before going out at night.

actually come to think of it, we are really fortunate to be in a country where we have our family and relatives by our sides.
as for cici, she's in an unfamiliar country, singapore, all by herself.
seen her being bullied today.
both by the lady boss and the landlord.
but lucky she isn't those soft-hearted and naive girl.
she knows how to defend and protect herself.
soon she'll be moving over to her friend's condo to stay and she can have her beloved BBQ once a week and go for a swim everytime she wants to.

had our trial cooking for italian fusion dessert after school today.
it was quite a disaester but at least we know what is wrong and leant how to improve it.

broke open my lock today.
oh you guys don't know what happened.
apparently i bought this pin lock from 7eleven at about $8 (which is so ex! dumb of me!) to use it during my monday's cooking lesson.
everything was working fine untill wednesday when i tried opening it, the lock stuck!
it was so dumb and waste of my money!
in the end i bought a normal lock for just $1.50 at homefix.
guess and bet it'll work so much better than that lousy pin lock.

went town with agnes on sunday to shop.
main aim was actually to buy my formal skirt but i ended up buying so many other stuffs because all the skirt just doesn't look nice.
it's either too long or too flare.
but luckily today fuann accompanied me to suntec to hunt for that precious piece of formal skirt which i have to wear tml for my buisness etiquette lesson.
and lucky god blessed....
i found this really lovely skirt from iora.
it fits me perfectly!

and... the company i am working for now just opened a new pub call aladdin.
it's located beside eskibar in tanjong pagar.
so scare that they might need me to work over there if they don't have enough people working.
because...... the attire looks like this!!!!!





met up with cici after my school yesterday.
she was helping out at her friend's shop in bugis village so i went to accompany her.
thought that the shop will be those super small and squeezy kind but it's actually rather big, combining 2 shops sizes.
the shop sells tibet dzi which can cost up to $4000!
and also many other beautiful accessories all from tibet!
bought myself a lovely necklace and i get 2 ear rings for free.
and the very nice "boss" gave me a bracelet for free even though i insisted to pay for it.


cici and my (black + red) necklaces are both from the shop.

oh yah.. yesterday there was a lin jun jie's concert in TP!
it's like so super rare that TP actually has such events.
so i lent my camera to celine for her to take photo of lin jun jie.
how nice of me. :)

i will be working at circular road's (boat quay) eskibar today.
if you are wondering..........yes i have actually quitted my job there,
however the ktv pub,xzotic, that i am working at is under the same company.
so sometimes i still might have to go back to eskibar and help out.



went to the scary building on 7/6/05 again.
this time round, we went there when it was still bright at about 5pm.
but yet.. it's still a little spooky.
at least this time round, we can see exactly what's inside and don't have to be afraid that we might see ghost. haha!

didn't know there's so many people going to sentosa until yesterday when i have to go sentosa to help out for the balloon hat festival.
the queue at habourfront was extremely longggg....
but it doens't stop there.
even at sentosa, the queue waiting for the beach line is also very long.
plus the frequency of the bus is very slow.
i reached the meeting place only at 1.40pm when we were supposed to be there at 1.
though i was supposed to guide the VIP, there seems to be no VIP at all.
for the whole day, i was just helping to sell tickets for the charity as i don't know how to twist balloons and helping in some other small little things like stacking up the chairs.
nothing much to do actually.
so i left at about 5pm+ though the schedule stated 7pm.

mel's balloon is SO CUTE!!!!! the fish is so fat and round! haha....

then zee, aida, fad and i proceed for our adventurous trip to a scary and haunted lookalike building in sentosa.




the brave guy is FAD!
he was not scare a bit ok......
he just took his tourch and start walking around like he is super familiarised with the place and he was our guide.
aida and i were like the most timid among them.
we only tour around 1/10 of the buidling and decided to sit by the roadside to wait for zee and fad while they continue.
they even went up to the 2nd floor man!
they said that there were even cardboards, dressing tables and beds that looks really antique.
oh man.. it sounded so interesting.
told them to bring me along next time in the DAYLIGHT!
haha....

i was suppose to work at 6pm after school.
met up with fuann.so we decided to go cafe iguana for nachos.
knowing that i won't make it on time for work, i sms my in-charge telling her that my school ended late today and can only start work at 7pm.
so she replied "K."
but halfway through eating, i have the super lazy mood not wanting to work.
so i sms the person, "i am so sorry. my teacher just asked me to stay back to help out for tml's event. can only go off till about 9pm. so i don't think i can work today."
so she called me back saying," alright. but after your school, give me a call. if it's very crowded at the pub then maybe i'll need you to come back and help."
okie...
then i was typing a sms wanting to send it to my friend, " haha! i am not working today. i lied to the person that i have school event till 9pm+."
AND KNOW WHAT?
yeah! i sent it to my in-charge instead of my friend!
DAMN!!!!!!!!!! THE MOST STUPID THING!
at that moment, i was on train with fuann going home,
so upon realising that i've actually sent the msg to the in-charge,
i hit fuann with my hp.
when i look at my hp, it was already shut down.
switch on my hp and check under my sent items.
phew....... it's not there.
but i felt insecured.
so i tried sending a msg to fuann and halfway took off my batt.
and DAMN! it's not in the sent items, but fuann received it!!!!!!
DAMN.....!
but the in-charge didn't sms or call me.
i really don't know whether did she receive it. even till now, i'm unsure.




went to see the horses again.
but today i took picture with a different horse.
zee said it's hindi because of the white patch on the horse's forehead.
my aim for today was actually to stand closer to the horse when taking photo.
yeah... so yes. this time it's a little more closer.

so zee,lynn,fad,maybeline and i decided to walk over.
while walking, we realised that there's horses nearby. so fad an i went in to take a look.
was trying very hard to take photo with the horse! only realised that i was so far away from the horse when i see the picture.
it was so scary OK!
the man kept asking me to touch the horse but only when my finger touched it a little, it made noise and sort of like wanting to bite me.
scary...
but it was fun.

then i went to meet xueling, ruoning, jackson and agnes at jp.
had my dinner at mcd and had so much to talk about.
all the laughters and nonsense.
then ruoning kept telling me "YVONNE... give me your camera. i want to take photo of you."
i'm like "HUH? WHAT FOR?"
ruoning, "i wan to take part in some competition whereby the person displays 15 or more accessories."
HAHA... SO CUTE LAH...
then she said that if she wins, she'll treat us. haha!
