my last weekend to work at eskibar.
so it's just left with today and tml (sunday).
i think if continue to work there, my legs will break.

yesterday was a such a busy day!!!!!!
i almost broke down when i see so many order sheets here n there....
but luckily i didn't make any mistake.

next monday, renovation at bukit timah's pub so at last a OFF day for me!
next fri, back to TP for dance concert.
next sat will the the flea market at tanglin mall.



if you were to ask me whether i love working at bukit timah or eski bar,
i will tell you for now it's bukit timah.
i love the friendly uncles who patronised the pub.
i love the monday gambling group.
i love how easy-going my lady boss is.
and i love my colleagues, especially my bartender joe.

as usual the monday gambling group will stay till 4-5am when the pub is suppose to close at 1am.
but they're nice people, always so polite, friendly and funny.
and yesterday i had a total of about $90 of tips.

but on 1st may, new owner will take over.
i doubt i'll have fun working.
i shall wait and see.

for eski bar, i hate the fact that they're always pushing the sales though i know this is how business should be.
i hate the heels that i have to be on for long hours which is killing me!
the temperature is so damn cold that my nose feels like it's dropping off anytime.
i hate the closing that will take about 1hour to complete,
and that i have nothing to do when the rest are busy with their stock taking and accounts.

but the incharge called me and asked me to be there by2pm for some photo shoot.
so lucky tml my working time is change from 2pm to 5pm!

didnt had anything for the whole day except a piece of blueberry waffler!

barbette's lady boss came down to eskibar.
haha... kinda weird to have ur own boss coming down to the place u work.

oh yah... the uniform!
haha... lucky i can fit into the size 39 boots.
but wearing heels for 13hours is so super damn tiring!!!!!!!!!!

she's even gonna design a top for all waitress and bartender to wear.
and she said that no jeans is allow.
there'll even be a renovation going on on 1st and 2nd may.
might quit if eski bar working environment is nice.

most likely i'm going over to work.

all because the taxi driver is very charming and handsome!
haha... it's really like one in a million chance that you get to see someone as handsome and as young as him driving taxi.

i just didn't feel good.
i don't like it... i don't know why.
but i'll try to cheer myself up and face the new day today.

i might get transfer to the new Eski Bar (www.eskibar.com) that will open next week in boat quay cause i told the lady incharge that i prefer working in normal pub without ktv.
but everything is not confirm yet.
to work in Eski Bar, there's uniform.
so one constraint is that the biggest shoe size they have is 39!!!
haha.. not sure if i can fit in...



i am feeling so super sick.
cough and running nose.
immune system is getting weak.
ps: don't buy sea coconut cough syrup! it's super not effective.

went chinablack last night after work.
lucky hongjie put me in his VIP guest list so that i could just walk in w/o queuing up,
as the queue was tremenously long.

it's just a recorded msg which i supposed is trying to pass the msg about aids, telling people to have safe sex.



friday night, watched samara.

saturday night went to chinablack.
lazed around at the bar on the second level.
not bad, had quite some fun chatting with willip, watching people playing pool,
and playing lame game(with fingers) with pres,willip and agnes.
i really hate the dance floor!!!
it's so warm... so crowded...
but i still enjoyed the night with my girls.

will be going town with jimmy later,
have dinner and do some shopping.

will have to go tanglin mall tml to register for the flea market before going to work at 6pm.

taking up another job at boat quay's ktv pub, Exotic.
working on weekends, saturday and sunday.




thank god it's friday...

will be going out with my friends for dinner.
no plan for night yet.

working has been so interesting and fun!!!
though people who go to the pub are mostly uncles, they are really fun to be with.
yesterday this 3 uncles came to the pub and they say they'll patronize the pub next time during my working days, monday - thursday.
today, they'll be coming again.
a deal for them to buy me and my bartender, joe, a buger each. hahah!!!

another customer came.... some working adult.
he said " today is the darkest day for me"
he fell out of love!
so we drank with him, talked to him to make him feel better.

yesterday after work, i went to chinablack!
it's really fun when you have people you know there.
yuting, meimei, teo, redzuan, alex, ganesh were there.
i didn't dance. sat at the Vip area all the way.
at least now they closes at 5am instead of 3am.

i was wearing tank top yesterday and this caucasian guy who were in the queue standing behind me asked " what is singlet?" after he saw the door bitch putting up a notice stating "no singlet, no scandals, no slippers, no shorts"
haha... i showed them "something like this thickness, sleeveless."
"what about the one you're wearing? isn't it a singlet?"
hahaha... it's a tough question..!!
i just replied "hmmm.. mine is tank top. so i think it's ok. maybe it's for guys not to wear singlet as it looks sloppy."



2nd day of work.
it's still fun.
getting to know all the regulars who patronize the pub.
but again some unhappy incidents happened.
but it's alright.
trying to work till 12 everyday so that i can claim my cab fare! haha..



1st day of work yesterday was Fun though towards the end something unpleasant happened.
quite an easy job, crowd was not bad.
colleagues are friendly and easy going.

was suppose to work till 11pm but due to the regulars who will be staying in the pub till around 2am,
i went off at 1.30am.
fuann was so nice to come down and find me.
he even waited for me to knock off from work.

oh... one thing i hate MOST about the place is the smoke!!
they don't seem to have the air ventilation machine.
my hair stink!!!
i will need to buy some hair fragrance spray for work.



had a mini celebration at home.
thanks to my cousins, nieces, nephews, sister, granny, aunties and uncles...
their presence made my birthday a little more special.

had hair cutting sessions at home today!
all thanks to li fai's 2pairs of scissors...
i cut my 2 cousins and granny's hair!!!
(i never learn cutting but i think i'm born with the cutting genes in me! haha!!!)
my cousins and granny were so nice...
they're brave to allow me to "operate" on their hair. (as brave as Aida)
ok everything turned out fine...
no disaster! haha...
in fact my cousin, serene, loves it...
and i think my granny now looks so much younger and trimmed now!
lots of praises and nice comments.... LOVE ALL OF THEM!

the very 1st thing to happen in the morning brightened up my day totally!
woke up at 12.45pm, went to wash up.
when i was in the toilet, a postman was at my door.
someone post me something.... my BIRTHDAY PRESENT!
then after looking at it, i realised it's from HK..!!!
my HK friend mailed me my birthday present!
so touched!!! my 1st present received!!!
LOVE HIM......!!!




the long awaited scissors. it's not just some normal scissors.
it's meant for hair cutting and it's quite expensive.

went to qiumei's working place last night to see the lady boss as there's vacancy in the pub.
waited from 9pm to 12midnight!!!!
but lucky i have agnes to accompany me and we had a mini chilling session between us.
so when the lady boss came,
i filled up the form and she talked to me for less than a min,
and i got the job.
$6/h(quite little)... but heard that the pub will be closing down soon. haha!
not much customers.
it's at bukit timah.
pub's name is..... BARBETTE? should be...
working days monday to thursday and from 6pm to midnight the latest.

agnes will be coming over to my place
at around 2pm we'll be meeting her friends and be finding jobs together.
most probably agnes and i will be getting a job in some pubs or so.
for me, it's not easy to find jobs that can accommodate my short working duration and my lip piercing.

went clubbing at chinablack with many ppl!!!
but i ended up only dancing and talking to cici most of the time.
i felt a little bad about it but i still enjoyed myself SO MUCH!!!

btw talking about cici.
i knew her when i was at chinablack with agnes like 3weeks back on ladies night.
at that time she was with her france friend, marev.
though cici is from china, she doesn't speak like one with strong china accent.
maybe for the fact that her dad is a taiwanese.
she's really a sweet girl and we simply had so much to talk throughout the whole clubbing session.
IT WAS SO FUN!!!!!!!!
