Passed m8a!

Did I mention I passed my m8a???
I was 20 mins late on 22/2/12 for m8a paper, 3rd attempt.I was left with just 40 mins to do the 50 questions !!!
Read the question damn fast, clicked the answer then next next next..... Was rushing for time.
But luckily at the end of the test, I see the word passed on the top left screen ;)
Went to kallang leisure park for movie last night. Spent time at the arcade before the show and Eugene managed to catch the Disney couple, Minnie n Mickey. ;)
I'm not a soft Toy kinda girl but these r cute ;) My melody is cute too .

Only aesthetic

4th session of hair removal at only aesthetic on Tuesday 19/2/12.
First time ever the feeling is sooooo painful!!!!
N the machine to me seems really bulky n not that user friendly leh.
Now it's making the skin dry n very very itchy !!!!!!
Couldn't sleep well for 2nights! Had to keep scratching throughout my sleep, horrible!

This morning everything seems fine again n not itchy, hmmmmm I wonder it's me or the machine ?

braun epilator. Official review on the Braun epilator (silk epil 7 xpressive pro)

oh my braun epilator !
the 1 year warranty is going to be expired soon. i need to to get it repair before May.
i only got to use it for like maybe less than 10 times and it spoiled.

i understand that from my previous official Braun Epilator, http://evongirly.blogspot.com/2011/05/official-review-on-braun-epilator-silk.html , i recommended an epilator as it helps you to remove unwanted hair in a few minutes and it's better than shaving.

But i beg to differ! because epilator is not really that fantastic. the tweezers effect definitely efficiently help you pluck the hair out in instance but you will end up WITH LOTS OF INGROWN HAIR!!! it was a horrible personal experience which i've got after my usage with epilator.
the 1st 2 sessions were alright, until when i use it for like 1-2 weeks, i noticed crazy ingrowns on my legs. it was gross and irritating.
i had to use the tweezer to manually pull each individual ingrown out. it was horrible feeling i tell you. it's not just the pain you get (pretty bearable), BUT the aftermath or it. you get red bumps on your legs, horrendous.

then i stop using my epilator and g back to shaving, which helps to ease the problem. and helps to reduce the red looking bumps.

then i read on some bloggers doing their review on ONLY AESTHETICS. they have all kinds of beauty treatments there, ranging from hair removal, slimming, teeth whitening to skin care.
so i gave ONLY AESTHETICS holland village a call to enquire on their price for hair removal for half leg and underarm.
since 2011 november, i've been receiving treatments from ONLY AESTHETICS and i'm so glad i made a great decision.
the ambience, service and treatment are all very good.
it's probably my 4th treatment, i can see the hair getting finer and growing slower. but i wonder when it will be hairless and i pray this treatment works. i shall come back and blog again after my 6th session, cause by right it should be significant by then and subsequent 1.5 years is just doing the maintenance treatment.

so far so good. but the price is also good ah! hahahh!
quite expensive i feel. underarm is around $218 (cant rem exact amount), leg is close to $2000 (cant rem exact amount).
the amount initially was around $118 for underarm and $988 for legs but end up i got upsell, which is for a better and faster results, i end up topping up.

even though i have straits time everyday in my branch,
and every time i tried to tell myself to read more papers to gain more knowledge, i didn't really do it.
my favorite part of straits times is the sunday times under the INVEST section "Me & My Money".

real life successful people sharing their experience with money, their best and worst investments, what propety they own, what car they drive, what's their retirement plan etc.
u learnt how rich people become richer and of course fundamentally, you ought to have lotsss of money first haha!!!!



for the longest time, i've been wanting to pursue and do a part time bachelor degree, maybe in business management, marketing or tourism course. any degree will do, i just want the cert. haa!
but main concern is that i don't bear to part with my precious savings. i know i know, using the money for a better cost can earn me better future and it will be worth it. BUT there's also many other things in life which i need to save for.
and i'm actually looking at taking the shortest duration part time degree, maybe like 12 months, which is available in MIS. but a year school fee would cost around 16k, excluding textbooks and registration fee etc. GOSH.
alternatively, i'm looking at getting a bachelor degree from online studies but there's so many scams out there, i don't know which are real and which are not. hahha!!!

saturday 18/02/2012;
raining saturday. and i'm working.
went for health checkup with sister and bro in law at NUS.
gosh, it's countless times i got jab for these last 12 months.
jabs for my wisdom tooth surgery, cervical jab, chicken pox jab, health check. OMG!!!

Failed on my 2nd attempt

2nd attempt to taking m8a. And I've failed yet again. Seriously what's wrong ! I swear I Studied, very hard. I was studying the whole day n night, doing and going through the mock papers twice, and yet it's still a failed.
I was kind of hoping for miracle to happen, to show me a PASSED but I guess I'm still not up that standard yet.
The questions at the exam were more like application of my understanding, rather than questions which were plucked out word for word from the textbook.
It is horrible. I always ain't good with mcq test and here I am again trap in the rat race all over again.
It started with the car basic and advance theory, I swear I took both the test amount to almost 10times before I passed. To the extend , I remembered my sister had to go popular and buy the theory test book for me to practice on. Haaaa!!!!
Then it's the insurance papers. The m5, m9, HI, m8. Oh my god! I'm glad I passed m5 on second attempt , HI, m9 and m8 on 3rd attempt. haaa!!!! Everything adds up to be 11 times ! Gosh !!!!
I mostly failed by borderline only. Passing marks are 70% and I'm always at the range beneath it.
Now the nightmare with m8a and m9a!!! I pray I can pass m8a on 3rd attempt!!!!! And m9a by 2nd attempt.
The papers are definitely tough and super tricky but it's just in me that I always suck with mcq tests haaa! I see my colleagues having no issue, and they mostly actually manage to pass the papers on 1st attempt.
Grant me powerful memory and knowledge of understanding for my papers!

Ps; I've spent more than $1000+++ on all these insurance papers. Amazing!

It's v day

It's Valentine's day !!!
Nothing too special leh. Just like any other day.
Because to me and poh, everyday is v day. Hahaha.
But v day last year and this year was special.
Last year I rem I had to spend it at hard rock in RWS with my colleagues because all the CEOs from all over the globe came to Singapore for some conference.
Still rem the time they did the lo hei, hahaa the yu sheng was all over the place and reached a new height, on the ceiling. Haha!!!

This year is gonna be special too because I'm going to subordinate court for hearing for the Deniz nails refunding of my package.
Shall pray for a good judge.
I will confirm be super nervous tml!
I gotta keep reminding myself To be claim so that I speak the right words. Haha!
